We woke up to a cold wet snowy day today in Ushuaia, it was forecast and is a normal spring day for the locals. From our b&b there are normally clear views of the harbour and bay, not today with the snow. We had a lazy morning then ventured out to visit the Jail and Military Prison museum. Quite interesting and a great place to visit on a wet weather day. Lots of maritime history with details of ship wrecks, old prison cells, penquin exhibits and Antarctic museum sections. In one section there was information on lots of other prisons worldwide - I was surprised to find info on The Galleries of Justice in Nottingham!
We had a late lunch, did a bit of shopping then returned to our b&b and had a lazy remainder of the day relaxing, snoozing and reading. We had an early night, we needed to be up early the next day to go and see some penguins!
